Description:    A Way to Counter: Cold Depression and Frozen Anger

In our fast paced world in the “Age of Computers” we are addicted to drugs, alcohol, food, smoking, work, shopping, anxiety, depression…even advancement and rejection – these can never fill the gap between you and your highest potential. We look to fulfill our inner emptiness and live our lives physically weak, mentally traumatized and spiritually bankrupt.

1) Learn about foods for health and healing with specific recipes for detoxification and rehabilitation. Therapeutic formula juices served each day.  
2) Practice of Kundalini Yoga to strengthen the nervous, glandular, circulatory, and digestive systems directly affected from substances. Gain the psychological edge necessary to remain calm and non-reactive under challenging situations.  
3) Learn practical techniques to counter cold depression and frozen anger which debilitate and prevent us from our intuitive sensitivity. This course is open to everyone, yoga teachers/students, healthcare professionals and people in recovery or seeking a lifestyle change.

Mukta Kaur Khalsa, Ph.D: Director of SuperHealth and personally studied with Yogi Bhajan. She directed a specialized hospital rated in the top 10% of programs in US by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization. Mukta Kaur is the author of ‘Meditations for Addictive Behavior” and is a Representative of the United Nations Office of Drug Control and Crime, Vienna .

This course meets the qualification for 13 hours of Continuing Education Units for MFT’s and /or LCSW’s as required by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
